Link, Murrel & Company was founded by both John J. Link, Jr. and Craig W. Murrel on April 15, 1986.
Our mission is a simple one: to provide quality, professional certified public accounting services with a hands-on, personal approach that ensures proactive relationships with our clients.
Link, Murrel & Company delivers the highest professional standards and the ability to provide services effectively. Client service teams are assembled to meet each client’s individual needs. Our firm’s state-of-the-art computerized operating systems ensure personal attention and rapid responses.
We have professionals with substantial experience serving business clients. Many of the firm’s partners and staff have obtained advanced degrees including master of business taxation and master of business administration. Experience in the private industry sector prior to joining our firm enables many of our professionals to provide a unique blend of practical on-the-job experience with professional expertise while serving our business clients.
Our firm is commited to maintaining a high level of quality in all professional services; therefore, continued in-depth technical and on-the-job training are essential elements of the professional development of each staff member. All professional staff are required to have at least 40 hours of continuing professional education annually. Staff attend seminars related to accounting, auditing, government or tax sponsored by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants or the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Link, Murrel & Company’s internal and executive reporting structure require that a Partner oversees a Manager, a Manager oversees a Senior, and a Senior oversees a Staff member.
Partners are “working partners”. They become thoroughly familiar with client operations, conducting meetings with company personnel serveral times a year to maintain a continuing knowledge of current operations. This process enables them to assist the clients currently with accounting, tax, forecasting, and other technical matters as well as profit improvement techniques.
Mr. Link serves as Director of Accounting Services/Specialized Consulting and Practice Development. Mr. Murrel acts as the firm’s Director of Taxes and Managing Partner. Mr Crouch serves as Director of Accounting and Audit Department and Director of Quality Control for the firm.
